The Multilevel Group Selection I (MGS I) model simulates a population of agents in the process of adopting a common-pool-resource-related collective action, while being influenced by individual- and group-level selection pressures. It may be useful to both scientists and students in hypothesis testing, theory development, or more generally in understanding multilevel selection.
