This advanced agent-based modelling course provides an opportunity to engage in student-centred learning. It focuses on the models and ideas that participants are currently work on. Participants will get expert advice from the course instructors as well as other modellers on the course. According to demand, the course may also cover proposal writing, shaping research questions to data and field, and tips for the academic publication of simulation-based research.
Participants are expected to submit a summary (100 – 200 words) of their research topic and/or models to Lu Yang ([email protected]) by 14 January 2009. The model can be tentative, although nearly complete models are also welcome.
