April 15 Deadline approaching: Video competition Science Magazine

If you have a project that is based on publicly available data and you have already built a simulation for it and went through the trouble of putting together a YouTube video of it for the OpenABM Model Library why not submit it to the contest?

Also, it doesn’t have to be an ABS project. So if you have another interesting project that isn’t quite a agent based model that is fine as long as it is based on a publicly available data set. I’m submitting a video using Netlogo but not really using the agent based features just kind of leveraging some of the visual components for the video and having the turtles march through some static data for visual effect.

There are still two weeks to submit. If you know anyone who has an interesting public data set and has made an interesting presentation of the data using an ABS or otherwise they are encouraged to submit a video. https://www.sciencemag.org/projects/data-stories
