BEHAVE Online Spring School on Agent-Based Modelling

BEHAVE Online Spring School 2021 on “Agent-Based Modelling for Social Scientists” 19-23 April 2021

Organised by the Behave Lab, this school aims to introduce students to Agent-Based Models (ABM) in NetLogo by using modelling examples from social science research. The training will be online and include lectures + hands-on training with personalised student assistance. The lecturers will help students to code an ABM from scratch in NetLogo helping students to learn advanced functionalities. No previous coding skills are required. The faculty will provide assistance and customized counselling on personal research projects during the course and provide room for project presentations. Students will be connected via ZOOM and will use their own laptop/pc with preinstalled the latest version of NetLogo.

The faculty includes: Federico Bianchi (University of Milan, Italy), Simone Gabbriellini (University of Trento, Italy), Nicolas Payette (University of Oxford, UK) and Flaminio Squazzoni (University of Milan, Italy, School director)

Registration fees

Fees include: lectures, counseling, materials and online infrastructure.

Fees Categories 1 Student fees (i.e., Bachelor, Master or PhD students): 400 euros 2 Non-student, academics (i.e., post-docs, assistant, associate, full professors): 500 euros 3 Non academic, professionals: 600 euros.
