Technology changes fast, and we have to commit to having the resources (people power) to maintain online education resources as the technology evolves and new good practices emerge. It’s best to build these things on open platforms that invite contributions from the community. Examples abound like the Software and Data Carpentries, the Turing Way, etc., and also carry their own cautionary tales and caveats that we are still in the midst of discovering.
