Fully funded PhD position in Sociology / Computational Modelling of intergroup attitudes in multiethnic classrooms (Groningen, Netherlands)

We are looking for a PhD candidate to conduct a dissertation research embedded in the NWO-financed project “SPIN-OUT: Predicting and preventing a spiral of mutually reinforcing negative outgroup attitudes (spin-out) in multi-ethnic classrooms”. The PhD position is embedded in the research group “Norms and Networks” at the Department of Sociology, Faculty BSS of the University of Groningen. The PhD candidate will also participate in the PhD training programme and research network of the Interuniversity Center of Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS).
