Has anyone used the OSF (Open Science Framework)?

We have looked into the OSF as a potential source of integration for storing metadata and the source files for ABMs in addition to tagging. It certainly looks to be a useful tool for archiving research outputs, providing a wiki, persistent file storage, tags, and citable URLs, but as it is a very broad & general tool, it doesn’t provide out-of-the-box support for the kind of computational model-specific metadata that we collect as well as the review & certification workflows.

That said, it may still be useful as a place to export our metadata (stored as plaintext files) in addition to the ABM files, or enable openabm to link to their stored files. We are working on upgrades to the OpenABM site this fall and will have updates on upcoming changes to the Model Library coming soon.
