Dear colleague,
I am glad to invite you to participate in a Global Survey of research practices of complex systems and social simulation, framed in my PhD study in sociology that I am currently conducting at the University of Toulouse1-Capitole in France and at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
My thesis examines the representations, values and attitudes of researchers of the community of complex systems and social simulation, regarding epistemological, methodological, social and ethical domain of their research practices.
I have designed this survey on the basis of a qualitative analysis of 53 interviews, with scholars of seven countries: Argentina, Spain, France, Holland, England, Italy and Venezuela. I made my greatest effort to develop a methodologically solid survey, wishing to make a contribution to the community of complex systems and social simulation.
Your participation in this survey is very important since your opinion will contribute to identify key problems, challenges and research trends structuring the field of complex systems and social simulation.
