Object Process Methodology (OPM) to document models?

I have occasionally dabbled in UML as a way to (help) formally document models over the years, but I never found it really suited to the task. Just now I stumbled on OPM, which on the surface seems to attempt to fill a similar niche to UML/SysML, but appears much more accessible.
From the little I have read so far my impression is that it might actually work as a formal way to document (agent-based) models. My question is - does anyone have any experience with the method or, better yet, used it specifically to document a simulation model?
