We are still taking applications for our summer agent-based modeling program, and will decide whether the course will be held in-person as planned, conducted on-line, or cancelled, before registration fees are collected. This decision will probably be made in early June.
The course will be conducted July 27 to August 4, 2020, by Volker Grimm and Steve Railsback, their 9th summer course in agent-based modeling at Humboldt State University. However, this year the course will be focused on the participants’ own modeling projects. Our goal will be for each participant to complete key products of their own modeling work: a draft model description with the most fundamental elements completed, working draft software, a plan for developing and testing theory for key individual behaviors, and a plan for analyzing their model.
Additional information and applications are available at: http://www.humboldt.edu/ibm/
The application deadline is April 12.
